Live Music with Gerald Law II Artist, composer, and multi-instrumentalist, Gerald Law II, built a reputation as the go-to drummer for jazz and R&B artists in Florida. If you’ve seen him play, you know why he’s affectionately called “the smiling drummer.” From his drum throne, Law drives the rhythm and elevates the performance of everyone around him. On the other hand, Law brings a warm and vibrant energy through the cello. His lyrical approach has made him a frequent collaborator with a number of music producers and songwriters. Maybe his famous on-stage smile comes from feeling so at home making music—or maybe he’s just happy to see us.

Live Music with Gerald Law II Artist, composer, and multi-instrumentalist, Gerald Law II, built a reputation as the go-to drummer for jazz and R&B artists in Florida. If you’ve seen him play, you know why he’s affectionately called “the smiling drummer.” From his drum throne, Law drives the rhythm and elevates the performance of everyone around him. On the other hand, Law brings a warm and vibrant energy through the cello. His lyrical approach has made him a frequent collaborator with a number of music producers and songwriters. Maybe his famous on-stage smile comes from feeling so at home making music—or maybe he’s just happy to see us.
